What you could do with a personal loan

An HSBC personal loan could help if you need some extra money to:

  • start a new life whether it’s a wedding, a new child, or redecorating your home
  • learn for the future by taking your driving licence or a course for a new career
  • get moving with a new or used car, motorbike, bicycle or even a boat
  • get active with new sports kit, arts and crafts equipment or an overseas trip

Do you need insurance for your loan?

HSBC loan insurance is optional for amounts up to €25,000. However, we strongly recommend it to protect you against the unexpected(7).

Our loan insurance(5) offers cover in the event of death, disability or inability to work. It takes over your loan repayments in case of any unforeseen event covered by your policy.
